Downtown Key Largo encompasses one square mile from Mile Marker 100 on the North side to Mile Marker 99 on the South Side. To the East is the Atlantic Ocean and to the West is the Florida Bay.
Downtown Key Largo’s Footpath is the epicenter of activity and a hub of excitement. Our centralized district offers family-oriented community parks, fishing charter, diving charters, sunset sailing, restaurants, cafes, and plenty of arts and culture. Explore Key Largo and love it!
Downtown Key Largo consists of 3 districts – all within walking distance from each other!
The Key Largo Marina District:
This is where most of our Key Largo charter fleets are based. There are many Fishing, Diving and Snorkeling charters to choose from.This is where the African Queen and the Key Largo Princess Glass Bottom Boats are also based. This area has a large portion of hotels; Marriott Courtyard, Holiday Inn, Marina Del Mar, Key West Inn and Port Largo Villa’s.
The Bayside Sunset Cove District:
Situated on the open waters of Florida Bay, the Bayside Sunset Cove District is home to the most spectacular sunsets Key Largo has to offer! This is where the Mile of Lights, Most Photographed Sunset in Key Largo, Happy Hour Sunset Celebration and Northernmost Territories are all situated. With laid back, Keysie hotels & motels such as the Bayside Inn, Sunset Cove Resort, The Pelican and Bay Cove Resort, the Bayside Sunset Cove is a great place to stay and play.
Lake Largo Boardwalk and Marina District :
Situated off the main road, U.S. 1. This is where our local seafood comes in via Key Largo Fisheries. Key Largo Fisheries is a great place to visit for a tour, purchase fresh seafood and visit their new casual eatery. On the other side is of the harbor is Pilot House Marina which is part of the Downtown Happy Hour and Live Music Trail. Also in this district is the world famous Dolphins Plus, swim with the dolphins.
Additionally, Downtown Key Largo has many community oriented organizations and amenities. To name a few, The Lions Club, The Civic Club, Sons & Daughters of Italy, Jacob’s Aquatic Center & Key Largo Community Park.
Each night, Downtown Key Largo offers loads of local entertainment, sparkling lights, plenty of stars, night fishing, night diving and plenty of nightlife.
